In every class you visit, you will see some wonderful learning taking place but if I have to sit through one more assembly on The Great Fire of London, The Romans, The Egyptians or Victorian Childhood and toys, I swear I will scream!

On Tuesday 29th January, children in Years 5 and 6 boarded the school minibus with Miss Arber and Mrs Reeder as they headed off to the Shenfield Sports Partnership Dance Competition. Happy just to be participating in this new event for our school, we were all delighted when the judges unanimously decided that our children were the clear overall winners.
Woodlands School Hutton Manor has won the “Academic Excellence and Innovation” award in this year’s prestigious Independent Schools Association (ISA) Awards.
The awards were hotly contested this year, with a total of 85 schools entering the various categories for 2018. Our school fought off stiff competition from across the UK to achieve this amazing success.
17 excited children travelled to Melbourne Park in Chelmsford on Thursday 11th October to take part in their first cross country race of the year, as part of the Chelmsford Pope and Smith League. Everyone is to be applauded for running with such enthusiasm and determination.
On Friday 5th October we were delighted to welcome 22 schools to Hutton Manor to take part in the annual I.S.A Triathlon. Woodlands School Hutton Manor has been hosting the event since 2013 and this year was another great success. The weather was kind and the tremendous support from staff, parent helpers and the Year 6 children meant the event ran smoothly and happily.
I am delighted to announce that we have once again been shortlisted for the ISA Junior/Prep Award for Academic Excellence and Innovation.
Our Year 6 pupils at Woodlands School Hutton Manor have declared themselves an independent nation.
Woodlands School at Hutton Manor has been hit with Circus Fever this week (18th– 22nd June 2018). The school has been hosting a whole programme of themed activities and experiences for its children, with the family Circus event on Wednesday evening at the centre of all the excitement.
